Loneliness or reality of life — poem
What is more lonely
Feeling alone in a crowd
Or in someone’s arm
What is more lonely
Taking yourself to the doctor
Or not having someone to ask how you’re doing
Is it lonely only during winter nights or
Every night when they text someone
With you in the same room
What is more lonely
Lonely with someone you think you love
Or alone by yourself and your thoughts
What is more lonely
Eating with your fam on Christmas
Not uttering a word or eating in a subway
With people laughing your way
What is more lonely
Sleeping alone at night
Or sleeping naked with them
Not feeling their hands when you cry
What is more lonely
Laughing at your joke or
Getting mocked by them
for sharing your truth
