We Will Prevail: My Tribute to SSR
I don’t know how you’re taking the news of the unfortunate demise of SSR, tbh I am still in denial. Since last 2 days, I have received tons of messages from my readers and friends who’ve been crying and been broken by the news!
My way to deal with this pain has always been words, so that’s what I am going to do.
2020 has already been a crazy year for all of us, with people stuck in home, fighting Covid-19, and other natural disaster every now and then. This heartbreaking news adds upto the already broken and unhealed wounds we’re dealing with as a community.
Why does this feel like we’ve lost someone from our own family?
When Irfan khan news came people were sad and it felt personal but it was easier to digest it since he was battling with cancer since a few years. And believe it not, some of us were ready for it.
However, when the news started coming out of SSR , people thought it was a fake news including myself. Because who would have thought that a young and a successful actor would die at a young age of 34.
Because of the connection we share with him.
He was a small town boy, from Bihar.
