The internet is still obsessed with the drama happening with the It Ends With Us movie cast, Blake Lively, and the director Justin Baldoni. Indian media on the other hand can’t stop talking about the most followed podcaster and YouTuber BeerBiceps’s freaky incest comment on a comedy show called India’s Got Latent. It shook the nation to say the least.
The dramas around these cases are more hook-worthy than most Hollywood movies releasing nowadays. They are some of the top-notch examples of personal branding failures.
Decades of hard work, success and strong personal brand couldn’t save these people. Looking at the cases made me notice how little we focus on building the foundation of a personal brand and how it is more important than our work.

Everyone talks about building a personal brand but forgot to mention the foundation. These controversies didn’t arise because of their work, it arose because of who they were.
