Being the Lebron James of your craft, i.e., to be the best at what you do, requires 10–20 years of training and hard work. With an ever-changing society, it doesn’t even guarantee success.
Another way to become valuable is to combine two or more skills to build a Skill Stack or Talent Stack.
You may not be best in one thing, but you’re above average in two or more and find an amalgamation of your interests — you can find a unique voice in a saturated industry. Specialization hampers your curiosity and stops your mind from wandering and learning. It puts you in a BOX.
