it’s where you get to choose how you feel
Welcome to adulthood. This is where you get to choose how you feel, what you do, and where you live. This is where you meet your dreams of being free. But this freedom comes at an exorbitant cost of being responsible for every goddamn thing you do.
The caveat of this freedom is that it comes with plenty of downsides. You can’t blame people for your problems; you must deal with them like adults. Your parents won’t be able to help you stay fit, sleep 8 hours or make friends. You’re responsible for your crap. Freedom comes with a +1, and we call it responsibility.
As an adult, you’re supposed to have control over your feelings and actions. You’re supposed to know what you’re doing with your life. You’re supposed to know all the answers. You're supposed to take care of yourself. You can’t blame it on your 6th-grade chemistry teacher; you can't blame it on your neighborhood bully. You’ve got to deal with them on your own.
